Terms & Conditions

• Event date will only be secured once 50% payment has been made. Please not we do not hold any event dates until this payment has been made.
• Full package payment is required no later than 14 days prior to your event and is non refundable.
• All gelato and sorbet flavours must be selected no later than 14 days prior to your event.
• If flavours aren't selected 14 days prior to your event we will make the selection on your behalf.
• In the unfortunate event we are not able to get the flavours you have chosen we will make every attempt to work with you and choose new flavours or select the next suitable choice.
• In the event of any cancellations by the client before 14 days of your event the 50% deposit is non refundable. Any remaining balances to be paid will be void.
• Any cancellations or changes within 14 days of your event is 100% non refundable.

• It is the responsibility of the client to ensure that your venue has been advised Gelato Shak will be scooping at your event and allow adequate space for set up and serving.

• In the event of any changes to venue, time or location on the same day, Gelato Shak will try and accommodate you where possible however it may not be possible around our other bookings and will incur full payment of the event.

• In the event of any changes to the date a $200 rescheduling fee will apply to your new booking date.
• Although it will be highly unlikely, and Gelato Shak can no longer attend your event we will issue a 100% full refund of your package selected.

• Travel fees are not included in the package prices and will incur additional costs.

• Gelato Shak does not disclose any of your personal information to anyone. Any personal information given to us will be use solely for your event booking to ensure we have the correct contact details to best prepare and attend your event.​

• In the event of any natural disasters or extreme weather events on the day of your event we will make every attempt to safely arrive at your location. However if this is not possible to do, 50% payment is non refundable and we will find you an alternative date where possible.

• It is the responsibility of client to advise Gelato Shak if any permits or licences are required to access a venue or event location well in advance of the event.

• Any bookings that fall on a public holiday will incur a 10% surcharge of the total invoice amount.

• If for any reason, the gelato fleet selected for your event is non-operational on the day of your event, Gelato Shak reserves the right to substitute with an alternative gelato hire as necessary.

• We do offer Gelato and Sorbet flavours with either vegan or dairy free options however Gelato Shak takes no responsibility for any allergies as there could be traces of allergens within the products.

• By hiring Gelato Shak at your event, you agree to allow us to post on our social media pages. If, however you do not wish your event to be posted on social media please advise us via email.
• If you have enquired within less than 14 days of your event and we have your date and time available 100% full payment is required on the same day and will be non refundable. We will do our best to get your preferred gelato and sorbet flavours however it might not be possible within that time frame and we will select the best available choices.
• For all events you must arrange access to the venue or location 30 minutes before and after the event to allow us to set up and pack up for your event.
• If power is available at your location please let us know to assist with set up, alternatively we can run off our charged batteries.
